Yard Tour: Dismantling
Viking Auto Salvage has 2 dismantling areas where we process up to 5,000 vehicles yearly. With 18 full time dismantlers & support crew the dismantling area is the busiest part of our entire operation. Our dismantlers remove, test, tag and clean undamaged auto parts that our computer tells us you want! Each dismantler has a station equipped with air tools for quick removal of parts. The efficiency of our dismantling shop is one reason why we can provide car parts at a price much lower than many of our competitors. |

Our auto parts cleaning systems, connected to our closed-loop water system, allow us to thoroughly clean all parts in an environmentally safe manner, before we place them into the warehouse or send them out for shipping or delivery. A quality control person inspects and tags every part. We also take the time to remove the pans of each automatic transmission, and inspect them before selling. The same is true for rear axle assemblies. All engines are run and compression checked.
